The Plan

In March of 2021, Darcy and Joe decided to start on an adventure that would potentially take years to complete. Our plan? Visit all the State and National Parks/Refuges/Forests/etc. in Washington State. Yeah... we know... but what's the point of simple life goals?

This site was created to record our adventures, but also to collate a list of as many of the amazing things we have to do and see in Washington as possible. We both feel extremely fortunate to have grown up here, and want to share our love of our state with anyone who may be interested.

Using this site:

We will do our best to list our most recent adventures above, but you can review any location we have visited by selecting it from the Locations tab at the top of the page. If there is a page for a specific park, it means we have visited it. Additionally, there is a Google map listing all of the sites we have found or intend to visit under the Location Map tab at the top of the screen (Note, this is still a work in progress). Finally, if you think we have missed a park, or if you know of one that we just have to visit, please use the form under the Recommend Site tab above and we'll get it added to the list.
