Our Thoughts: It was brisk on our trip to one of our local spots - Hamlin Park. The place was empty that morning, which made for a peaceful walk. The elevation changes and wide-open forest made for some wonderful views. We love this place because of the walkability; you're in the middle of Shoreline yet still feel like you're in a forest away from it all.
Cool thing to see: Two historic guns from the USS Boston are mounted near the park's main playground. We have a picture or two below.
